Introduction
My name is Nathan Duarte, I am currently 33 years old. I have a loving and compassionate wife, a bright and empathetic 13 year old son, Two self-less people I’m humbled to call my parents, and a dog (Luna) that keeps me on my toes. These bright souls are my biggest motivating factors for fighting this disease (Glioblastoma), and I gracefully do it in hopes our children don’t have to. I grew up in British Columbia, and went to elementary school in both Langley, and Richmond. I then graduated high school in Richmond, and after working many restaurant jobs, I enlisted in the military which taught me how to be disciplined and to face whatever challenges that come my way head on. I have been working for the municipal government since 2012.
